週末はどんよりな天気でしたが、今日は気持ちの良い晴天。
ずっと探してたお気に入りのCDが棚の隙間に挟まっていてやっと救い出せました。久々に聴けて嬉しい朝です。
音楽は手にもできない、見る事もできない、実体のないものです。
でも人は音楽によって気持ちを動かす事も動かされることもあります。
人の生活の上で必ずしもなくてはならないものではありませんが、人の心を豊かにできる貴重な存在だと思います。
自分も沢山音楽に救われてきました。
だから音楽を演奏する事で何かの役に立ちたい、そういう思いで演奏をしているしこれからも演奏し続けたいと思っています。
エリック・クラプトンが愛息子を亡くして自暴自棄になっていた時に、日本に来て桜守の人に出会い、桜にかける無償の愛を知って再び音楽に愛情を注ぐ様になったと言う話を聞きました。
この話で自分も気持ちを入れ替えなきゃと思いました。
明日は神保町アディロンダックカフェにてオルガントリオのライブです。

The weather was gloomy over the weekend, but today is a pleasant sunny day.
My favorite CD, which I had been looking for for a long time, was stuck in a gap in the shelf and I was finally able to rescue it. It’s a nice morning to listen to it after a long time.
Music is something that cannot be held or seen; it is intangible.
But people can move their feelings and be moved by music.
Although it is not necessarily essential to people’s lives, I think it is a valuable presence that can enrich people’s hearts.
I too have been saved by music in many ways.
That’s why I want to be of some help by playing music, and that’s why I play and I want to continue playing.
I heard that when Eric Clapton was feeling desperate after losing his beloved son, he came to Japan and met Sakuramori, and after learning about his unconditional love for cherry blossoms, he began to devote his love to music again. I did.
This story made me think that I had to change my mind as well.
Tomorrow there will be an organ trio live performance at Jimbocho Adirondack Cafe.
This is a delicious American food restaurant, so please come and enjoy the live music and food.
